Launch the kiosk from the patient's row
Find the patient in today's list. Their row has six buttons: Edit, Contact, Spouse, Staff, Schedule and Contract.
To hand the iPad to the patient, press the green Contact button. If you are handing it to their spouse, press the teal Spouse button instead. Those two are the patient-facing buttons. Staff is yours — we come back to that at the end.
The kiosk opens on that one person, and their name is at the top of the screen. Read it before the iPad leaves your hand.
